One of the most asked questions is about ‘luggage size’. Today we want to give you a little tip about it. Starting with measurement, many people confuse about it; the right way to measure luggage is from top to bottom exclude the handle and wheels. If you measure from the ground (include wheels), it will mess up the right size. Obviously, it will lead to many confusions. For example, when you want to buy a new luggage, you might end up buying the size you already had. Another example is when you want a cover luggage, which normally made from luggage size which measure from the body part. (Note: luggage cover from each brand usually produced based on each brand’s luggage, it may not fit your luggage well)
Talking about luggage size, let me tell you about our luggage, Pegasus. We have 5 difference sizes: 16”, 18”, 20”, 24”, and 28” (and more to come). Each sizes of luggage are for different occasions.
16” size is for a very short trip, 1-2 days.
18” size is for a weekend trip, 2-3 days.
20” size is for 3-4 days trip, sometimes up to a week.
24” size is quite big; 4-7 days trip is still okay.
28” size is best for 6-10 days trip, and obviously for going aboard.
However, it’s all up to the weather of each trip. For example, if we go to a place where we don’t need thick clothing, 20” size luggage might be good for a week trip! And of course, it also depends on your ‘packing skill’. We suggest to plan out what you want to bring with you a week before trip, in case there’s anything you need to buy (some people just realize they need a new luggage a day before trip, that’s NOT good). Another tip is spare some space, keep in mind that you will buy something back from the trip. So, spare some space for shopping, or you might end up buying another luggage from the airport or throwing away your stuff.
Enjoy traveling!
